Our English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) classes prepare you to communicate competently in English. Classes are offered from beginning through advanced levels, and are designed for the adult student. As part of a language arts program, our English classes are designed to develop all areas of language – speaking, listening comprehension, reading, writing, grammar, and pronunciation. Emphasis is on teaching practical language skills that are necessary at home, in the community, and on the job. The length of the program is based upon your individual needs. As an open-entry/open-exit program, you have the flexibility to enter and exit the program when your individual needs have been met. You will progress in an atmosphere dedicated to adult learners with highly qualified teachers who specialize in teaching English classes. You will use a variety of learning materials, including computers and software to enhance your reading and speaking skills.
Cost: $30 per semester Activity Fee: A $20.00 Student Activity Fee is charged one time per person, per campus, per school year. This fee is used to offset the costs of providing school security and campus-related activities. Assessment Fee: A $15.00 Assessment (testing) Fee for ABE/GED® and ESOL testing is charged.
